Those that resort to insult and circular logic should be pitied... and then dragged from their homes and shot. It would solve a lot of problems.
Maybe Game14 thinks some gay guy is going to force him into marriage for consensual, frequent sodomy.

As to Brownell. It may sound simple to you but on the ballot it was very deceptive. What they claimed Proposition 8 "Protection of Marriage"
Now along with the confusing ballot; they blitzed the media with statements that Prop 8 would not discriminate against gay people. Then they told people it will be mandatory that all children would be taught of same-sex marriage and intercourse and without passing the curriculum the student(s) would be prevented from graduating unless voting yes. They claimed that without Prop 8 that churches would lose their tax-exemption status. They claimed that without Prop 8 people could be sued over their personal beliefs. They also claimed that without Prop 8 that parent's would lose the right to determine what their children were taught.
Proposition 8 did none of this. They out right lied about its purpose and who supported it.
It is about as bad as the No on Prop 2 blitz we got in Michigan claiming that if we passed Prop 2, we would be overrun with clones and doctors would secretly steal fetuses for experimentation and stem cell extraction.

ok, well, frankly, his herring may not be any redder than yours, in bring up polygamy, since that still involves male and female.
For what it's worth, it's my impression that the vast majority would favor the institution of a "civil union." To some, that may appear to be just a semantics issue, but apparently, to many, it's not . . .
Incorrect. Polygamy does not discriminate about gender and orientation. It depends on the doctrines of specific sects. There are plenty of polygamist that have both wives and husbands.
Polygamy: (n) the practice or custom of having more than one wife
or husband at the same time.
