Why do so many celebrities/presidents/etc suck at throwing out the first pitch? I mean, little kids can do it without making some big-assed rainbow-arc-only-to-miss-the-plate-by-4-feet, so why can't they? It's not really a difficult thing to do.

Seems like baseball is a big thing down south.

Not trying to defend sucky-throwing celebs but the major league mound is much further away from home plate than a little league mound. Still it shouldn't be so hard for a grown man to throw a (near) strike.

I'm probably awful at throwing a baseball.
I think the last time I threw a baseball was like 3.5 years ago.

I suck at baseball.

The only hockey where I live is played on roller skates.
I pitch and play first base on a fast pitch softball league.

Roller hockey's wicked. Used to play it back in high shool. Way more violent than regular hockey!

Roller Hockey on ice with saw blades instead of pucks... now I might be interested in seeing that....

I was throwing from 60'6" from like 14/15 up, IIRC.
