New look

There are still a whole lot of 404 errors. The Search button for the forums yields a 404. Randomly, clicking on people (to go to their uploads, etc) yields a 404 error. Click on it enough and it actually works.

Also, the "Keep me logged in" doesn't work at all. Not a cookies issue on my end, as this is the only site that has the problems.

Personally, I'm not liking this at all.

I do have to log in every time I visit the site.I guess after so many hours it logs you out

I'd say the new updated look of the site is an improvement, in that the download is faster, and I can use credits to unlock just the pictures I want, rather than buy a subscription to all of them. However, I do have a few complaints. First of all, it's not letting me do a search for forum topics. It keeps saying "no results found," without even letting my type in a search parameter. (So for all I know, this problem has already been addressed, and I have no way of knowing about it.) Second, I can't find how to add tags to pictures. Third, the tags I already added to my own uploads seem to have disappeared. That's all I can think of for now. Let me know if I'm just missing something, or if it's a site problem.

The forum search is a bug and has already been reported. You can check what have been reported here.
Only permanent taggers can now tag. At the moment, there are not many but I'll create a thread when I have all the tools needed to recruit a proper team. According to your number of tag added previously, I'll definitely keep in touch with you when it's the case.
Concerning the tags you added before, I guess only the ones that were confirmed (by 2 other people tagging the same as it's how it worked before) have been kept.

Is there a benefit to seeing when someone posted a pic? The new display for showing uploaded images from a specific member separates them by when they were uploaded. Usually if I'm looking at someones uploaded images or videos I'm looking because I think their likes may be similar to mine and I want to see what else they posted. From my perspective I don't see a benefit to knowing what day they posted the image or video. I do see a downside and that it I no longer see 100 images per page. Sometimes I see as few as ten if they posted one image a day. In that case I have to look through 10 pages to see the same number of images I could see in one.

So is there some benefit to knowing what day an image was posted that I'm not aware of? Is there a reason for this change?

You can remove it in your account settings > site > Disable date seperator in overviews? [YES]

I think that you (WBW Crew) should have done a real survey of what the members actually liked and disliked. I am one of the "untouchables" that don't like the "improvements". Like I said before, people were too busy enjoying the site to check out your potential "upgrades". Seriously it's just tits and ass. We want a "home" not a clinic or the cloud; we're not cyborgs. What do boys want? They want to search for content based on their peculiar inclinations/perversions. They want to seek out particular pics, videos, and cars. And boys/men want to boast about their uploads and "best" their "competitors", I don't care if guys' girlfriends or exes are hideous, but it gives them "validation" or a sense of pride.The point system made them porn stars/newbies/etc. Guys like to talk shit. Hell, I honestly didn't like all of the ugly ass, broke ass "mature" "babes" that popped up on the site, but one look at the "top babes" now and it looks so glossy it may as well be a pro model portfolio. Yeah, the future is "now", but new is not always better. I'm not conservative or afraid of change, but "change' is not always an improvement.

The heyday of WBW was when we had a TON of member interaction in both the galleries AND the forums. The hope is with some of the new features, this will improve interaction between members.

As for a survey of what people liked and didn't like, what's a better survey than to give you the site and to let you play around with it, and comment about what you liked and didn't like? Diz did this...he made the beta version open to everyone, and encouraged people to comment on it...very few did.

So now he is working to add and restore old features that people missed plus adding new ones that have come up since the launch of the new site. And it's happening...features and fixes are being added every day. If by "change" you mean the look of the homepage...its already been stated several times that its going to be changed. As for the look of the top babes, and them being pro models...we have had no change in policy in what pics to approve and what pics to reject...so if you think some pics shouldn't belong...report them, or send one of the pic mods (like myself) a pm.

Enjoying the old site? To be honest, the old site was dying, the software didn't work good anymore with modern server software. The old code wasn't easily in changing stuff and it still contained code from day one. A lot of glitches were terrorizing the site, the old site was WAY SLOWER than this one is now. The old site wasn't compatible with new devices that are on the market. I could have stayed in 2002, but then this site would die a slow dead (if this is what you wanted of course).

After launch of the new site people seem to be screaming complaining about the following:
- We made more stuff paid content: this is not true things are exactly the same as the old site. We only simplified the way things worked.
- Everybody is bitching the interface was changed, it is exactly the same set-up, only with another skin/look (yes new skins/looks will come), give it time.
- The old site worked way better, this is total bullshit read back in the forums with all the issues that were building up, the downtime wbw had, the slowness and galleries disappearing. The only complains are now the layout and some missing features that will COME BACK! Rome wasn't build in one day, keep that in mind.

And we've not only changed lanes, we've exited the freeway/highway/interstate and the neighborhood looks kind of sketchy.

Diz is great (really nice and talented guy) but people were too busy enjoying the actual website.

If they did, they would have been involved in the site. I have really messaged a lot of people asked them to look into it,..

I have already made some nice changes to the current ones that helped a lot of people. and there are still a couple of upcoming changes that will far better than old site.

If they were too busy to look at the same site in a new format...and still able to look at all the naked girls they wanted, then they likely would have been to busy to participate in a survey that had zero boobs in it.

And quite frankly...if we lose some people from the site...people that never participate in the site...only the lechers that view pics and never comment, vote, or give back...then I don't think it's a bad thing.

With changes there will always be people leaving AND people joining but I don't think the core of WBW will change as the site is pretty much the same (content wise) with just a new look and some changed features. And globally I think the new site is really better for a lot of reasons.

To txxxxxxxxxx, I think pictures tend to look more like pro pictures because of two things :
- being able to do good quality pictures is now accessible to anybody with a decent camera, so even amateurs can do good quality pictures. There are lot's of time where I'm sure a picture is pro so I do search but in the end it's just an amateur posing well with a good setup.
- a lot of pro model now do "amateur-like" pictures (mainly selfshots) and post them on networks like twitters so there is a big trend of unknown people doing the same (making it very hard sometimes to know if someone is amateur or pro).
But in the end, nothing changed, there are still mainly amateurs picture here (with a few pro here and there), it's just that we're in 2012, quality improved and blogs like tumblrs spread the "erotic" genre among amateurs.

One addition to your list: The are a lot of grey area type pics, such as cam girls. They have good lighting, and in a lot of cases have modeled before...give them a good camera and voila...you have a very ploished pro looking picture.

I know it is trivial; but the column for Replies needs to be fixed. It counts OP towards the replies so one reply to a thread shows as two replies.
