Man, that was briefly an awesome IRL meme due to Bangles. I was at a bar with an awful douchebag, and whenever shit got too annoying, he'd be like "what do you wanna do" and I would be like "Kick off mah Sunday shoes!" and just break into song.

I obviously had to google the lyrics to the song first.

It made an awful, awful night somewhat bearable....just because deep down, I knew someone out there was more annoyed that I was.

The thing I like the most about my blog-recognition post is that in a roundabout way, a moderator from a porn site is also contributing to a mainstream economic policy blog. It makes me smile a little.

So, I've been talking to a really old ex girlfriend...she heard about my break up and has been just chatting with me and shit.

Like every once in a while I'll get a text from a long-away ex, that's like, "Hey, what's up. Miss you" or something, and I'll be like, "Psssshhhht. Who are you again?"

But then on a couple times I've gotten one from a chick that I actually still had feelings and shit for, and i'd be like,"WTF OMG OWOIETHOWHGSDKJGHLSDKJGHL<heart asplode>"

People need to stop asking me for advice in IRL...when I actually try, they don't listen, and when I give them half assed bullshit they're all "whoa brah, that's deep." Yeah, as deep as I can get while my other hand is busy polishing a car which I'm entirely focused on.
