I don't know anyone nearly wealthy enough to own an airplane. I know a few pilots though.

Ski lodge, meh. I have a friend of a friend that's got a place in Park City but I have no interest in falling down a snow covered mountain again. I'm too Floridian for that stuff.

I do know a bunch of people with boats and in a lot of ways, it's better to know someone with a boat than to actually have one yourself. It's nice to show up with a cooler and a few bucks for gas and not have to worry about any of the other BS involved in boat ownership. I do miss mine and I'll probably buy another little one once I buy a house. Small boats can be affordable if you do the maintenance yourself and you keep them super simple. The more gadgets and stuff you install on a boat, the more crap there is to break. Here's some pics of my old boat. It's somewhere in upstate New York now freezing.

Anybody have any idea if those Facebook gun groups ship internationally? :P

Thanks. I was the original owner of that boat. Built by Action Marine in December 2003. I got almost 10 years out of it and it was still in really good shape when I sold it. The fastest I ever had it was at 90.6 mph on a hand held GPS unit. Lots of fun.
