the young people here in my city are taught more about susan b. anthony, martin luther king, and pancho villa than world geography or modern european history. the feminists have taken over our local school system and probably many more across america. something had to get taken off the academic calendar. feminists don't give a rip about the danes.

what devilhair noted in his opening statement is true. young americans have very little clue about denmark or the rest of the world. but ask them about susan b. anthony......................................................................

In school we are mainly taught about all the good and bad through events in American History. Most highschools have a World History class, but it is usually optional and only teaches you about like the countries national bird and the geography of the country. Unfortunately we are not taugt, at a young age, a lot about other countries except when it involves a war or depression. College is basically the same unless take classes involving specific countries...

Well scandinavian history is linked to the american history. Leif Erikson (viking) was the first europian to go to north america. Btw he was Iceland and son of Norway

And the scandinavian countrys are important for example in women history. First women president in the world was icelandic and the nordic countrys are entrepreneur in human development.
