Then say it's somewhere by Sweden or Germany or something like that. Since I just saw the answers to the rest I don't know what I would've said before. I think I would've guessed Copenhagen but wouldn't have been sure about it.

I know all the questions that you ask cause my ancestors are from Denmark. My great grandmother which is no longer with us. Came from Denmark when she herself was a child. It is sad to say that when we learn about the other countries other then our own we don't spend much time learning them. We learn the location, capitol, and what some of the culture is like fron the 1960's (old books due to lack of school funding). But we all learn this when we are in the 7th grade and by the time we go to high school it changes from knowing the world to knowing U.S.History and U.S. Government. So you see that Politics are involed in our school system.

i think (unfortunately) most americans are generaly uninterested in the rest of the world. most just live in a little bubble and think america is the end all be all of the universe. pretty lame... a shame really

on a related topic, how would you do on a quiz about america? I'd bet much better than 75% of americans... you'd be surprised at the average americans knowledge of their own country...

On that Jay Leno thing, they find people who don't even know who the Vice-President is or who was running for President during the elections, even capitals of states. I don't know how many people they have to interview to get the wrong answers but they always find some.

Have you forgotten your own roots ?

For example, look at your own family name.
Tell us what it is and we will tell you whare you came from.
Or else tell us the family name of someone you know, that's much easier, perhaps.

And can anyone point out Denmark of even Luxembourg on a map of Europe ?
