How do you download files......upload seems to work ok

Can we upload anything, or are their restrictions on content?......I'm just uploading a belladonna fisting movie 78 mb. Delete if it's inappropriate

Click on the TOS (Terms of Service) link. I would think any belladonna vid would be copyrighted.

Note, this is still a beta service, right now it works for some, not so well for others. I am working on the system actively.

Also, as for TOS, I really don't look through files, the TOS is there so if anyone tells me somethings copywritten I can just say that I don't allow it and delete it without any legal action, but in the long run, I really doubt anyone will complain over copywritten porn. :P

But yeah, this is still beta and may change. I'll do my best to keep already uploaded files there though.

When I and friends download (cable connection) it is variable between 800kb/s and 2000kb/s. We are on an AT&T backbone. We have an OC3 connection in Brea, California, and usage is split between two servers. I'm not sure why there would be anything "slow" about it. Unless theres a mass of usage I'm not seeing somewhere. Or jsut a slow time.

Right now I am downloading from it at about 550kb/s, which would be considered slow from normal usage. But 40kb/s is insanely slow. Around what time PST did you try it?

If this is going to smell too much like spam, I am forced to blacklist it.

Except you didn't have to deal with the wait time and putting in the bot code.

Also, for now upload file size is at 100MB, because for some reason, despite all the php.ini settings being correct, the server randomly stops uploads over 100MB. I'll be working on this to add more.

Exactly. Even if it takes the same amount of time as rapidshare or a tad longer, it would be better in the long run because you wouldn't have to deal with all the associated headaches like wait times, bot codes, and max downloads per hour.

Thanks man, that's all I'm trying to get out here. :P I obviously am not as rich as RapidShare to offer faster speeds than them, but for just an 18 year old dude running a bunch of websites, keeping an equal speed server with no hassles on the user end is quite a feat! Glad it's appreciated.
