We all loved the old news section right? Well ok, some of us loved the old news section. Thanks to a recent straw poll in another thread we realized that it was more missed than we originally thought, and because plans to bring it back to the home page have stalled, a few of us figured it was time to bring it back to its former glory....hopefully. I think for this to work as best as it can, there needs to be a few rules in place, that best emulate how news was posted in the past...so here they are.
1) Only one news article per post - this makes it clear when people are replying, which article they are replying to.
2) When commenting on an article, use the Quote button so we know which story you're replying to.
3) Each post should include a brief description of the news story, and a link to the source.
4) Stay on topic. No Spam! We have a separate forum if you want to get silly.
5) No porn...this should go without saying.
6) Try and make your stories interesting, meaning....we don't need posts about news that everyone has already heard; such as ObamaCare websites are down again. A better story would be Distracted driver on cell phone crashes car through hospital doors while trying to access ObamaCare website on phone.
Unlike the previous news section of the site, anyone can contribute, so start posting everyone!
