I applaud this lady for her attempt at consistency. I find something disconcerting about the pro pubes crowd that finds no fault with women who shave their legs and axillae, in that it's not a particularly coherent argument. Hair on one portion of the body should remain, as it's "natural" but on others, no dice? That doesn't make sense to me.
That said, yes, it's a societal pressure that is hoist upon women (and men)--like literally everything else in one's daily life--but that's part and parcel of, you know, being a member of society. And sure, trying to change societal views is a fine endeavour if that's what you wish to spend your time doing, but the shaming of people who have one particular preference over another is not something I'm a big fan of. If you want to make a list of "unnatural" things that are done mainly because of societal pressures, and rebel against them, it's going to be
MUCH, MUCH longer than just, "stop shaving all body hair."
