So i actually listened to your "proof" of Howard ripping off O&A. There was no proof what-so-ever. So howard played a song that was on o&a. Most likely, HE didn't even find the song, one of his staff members did. Nor did he try to say HE WROTE IT. All he did was PLAY it.

On a side note, i listened to the whole clip and NOT ONCE WERE THEY FUNNY. Boring morons.

As far as that sirius "portable" goes. That i actually agree with you. it should be able to receive live broadcast. So thats why i'm not getting it.

He played a song that O&A fans wrote and sent in to the O&A show and used the O&A audio of that song. You could hear Anthony laughing in the background of that clip and ringing the inappropriate bell.

As for the gag order, it wasn't in their contracts. Mel Karmizin placed the gag order on them saying they could not mention Howard and if they did it would get dumped out of and their producer and general manager Ken Stevens would get fired. As for brining it up on the show many of people have tried but Howard dumps out of thier calls or just hangs up on them. Maybe you should call Howard and ask him about the gag order, and while you're at it ask him what happened to his daughter at the jingle ball back in 2000.

Why does Canada ban Stern? Do they give a reasoning? Is CHUM that powerful? I know the Candian goverment is different from the States set-up so you look at free speech differently. I just don't understand why your country would ban someone who pays for the service. What really gets me is the Canadian content rules. Canada has some outstanding artists that compete without being forced onto listeners. Now the standout Canadian performers are going to be pigeon holed into the Canadian only channels (XM and Sirius) which most people will skip right over. Canada has a lot going for it but your radio laws suck. Hell, most of my favorite entertainers are Canadian.

Canada didn't ban Stern. Sirius just chose not to put him on the Canadian Service. O&A are on the canadian version of XM. I bet Howard will come to the canadian version once Siruis establishes itself in Canada. For some reason our radio laws are terrible but we can say shit and show nudity on our TV with no problems.

I hope Howard becomes good again in 2006. His fans deserve it after giving them terrible radio for the past few years. Though I hope you enjoy his 4 day a week scedule mixed in with 12 weeks of holidays throughout the year. By the sounds of that it looks like he really does care ab out his show and wants to make it better.

Howard chose Sirius because Opie and Anthony are on XM. Back in July 2004 on one of his shows he said that he would go to whichever SAtelitte company that didn't have Opie and Anthony. Here is the clip

Would you turn down $100 mil a year because you had to share an employer with someone you hate? Besides, if XM could have gotten Stern OA would have been kicked to the curb. Why?
