this water hole dried up this morning. the cow died last january when it got stuck in the mud and snapped a leg. her calf disappeared. coyotes, vultures, and ants had her gone in a week. long/lat on the pic.
Cool story

No snakes in the Lounge.
Largest snake I saw in the wild was an Eastern DB.
Using my dick as reference, I estimated it to be 40 feet long.

Is that a MO Fox Trotter on the right? Looks like a well built gaited horse.

Last night

Then I was playing around with some back-lighting settings on my camera this morning with an impatient model.... figured I post a couple just for the hell of it.

I don't much care for them critters but great pics, thanks AZ. (How big was it? side-winder I assume)

@ notech
i haven't seen a sidewinder in 10-11 years. the drought might have done them in around here.
this one's a mojave. she's seen me in that area 8 or 10 times over the years. i usually just say "hi snake" and move along as she lays there watching me.
she didn't like waking up to my camera in her face yesterday. i'm probably lucky she retreated instead of taking a bite at me.

I am sorry but I Hate Snakes, I jus got home from my Grandma's home in North Carolina and she has WaterMoccasins "however you spell it", and Copper Heads on her property, and these little lizard things there. I will not lay out in the sun there unless I can use the hammock.....

I thought I'd posted this. Must have been in another thread. Oh well, it should have gone here too. Just a small flounder and a speckled trout.

Damn straight buddy. They are.
And I have since figured out that they were originally displayed on this quagmire of debauchery, as your birthday present.

Time to give this some life again:
From last evening's drive around the countryside. Just a couple of pics snapped from my phone. Didn't quite do it justice.
