That's really pretty dude.

I grew up in a small town in Michigan named Romeo. I grew up on a dairy/beef farm, we never had anything this nice to look at on our property. About the only thing I had was a secluded swimming hole where I used to go skinny dipping,with my Rotties watching over me. We didnt have anything exotic except for a herd of cattle. Boring right.................

I've seen plenty of beauty on the farm. Sometimes we just fail to see the beauty around us because it's too familiar.

Plz dont take me wrong, I wouldnt want to have grown-up any other way. I miss hearing nothing but birds every morning, and the smell of the fresh air every morning. I used to take my horse out every morning that I could sneak out of the house before chores and go for an early morning swim before the day got started. I have three older brothers who did most all of the heavy work, but they still kept me busy. Jus so many times I miss the quiet and solitude, and when I start thinking bout it like I am now I make myself so homesick.

Lia, I'm with you. I like peace and solitude. When you say you "miss it", my condolences if you live in the city now. Good to know the country is still in you.

I have been to the west coast one time, I would luv to be able to spend some time there but I dont have anyone that far west and would be alone. I had some offers some years ago to go there for some photo shoots but I wasnt sure they were legitimate. And as some peeps commented on bout something I posted a while ago, I am a Third Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and Kendo I jus dont want to be alone anywhere.......

Little pigmy rattler in my driveway. Not big, but can sure do a hurtin' on your leg.



And this was on the wall of a local hangout. Now THAT'S A SNAKE!!

it was just a little snakey-poo. 3.5 to 4 ft. it kept trying to get away from me & my camera & i kept bugging it getting closer.

this water hole dried up this morning. the cow died last january when it got stuck in the mud and snapped a leg. her calf disappeared. coyotes, vultures, and ants had her gone in a week. long/lat on the pic.
