Well, I hope you find something and will be able to run again.

Have you done anything less impact to try to take it's place? Biking can be a decent less stress activity.

As for the running, I used to be a very avid runner, have done a few full marathons and several halfs. I broke one of the metatarsal bones in my foot a couple years ago, let it heal properly, didn't push myself, consulted my doctor about running again, took things very slowly to start, and 14 months after breaking it the first time, I broke it again. Now it hurts a little most days, and after running for just a few minutes it hurts a lot. more running for me. Its been awful trying to adjust to it...running used to be my thing.

That's a shame about the running, sounds painful too...

I like to jog a bit, not marathons or anything, but a little distance... Hopefully you can do other exercise? Ever thought about bike riding? It something I enjoy from time to time...

I always biked a little, but I've done a lot more this past summer than I ever have. I prefer mountain bike...like in the actual mountains, so its a bit more of a commitment in that I have to plan a head, loading the bike up, and driving out to the mountains, so I don't do it as often as I used to run. Plus, come this time of year I really can't bike. I use the stationary bike at the gym, but meh...and also use the rowing machine for cardio, but I've started adding in things like Pilates...which I used to never really get, but am now becoming a fan of.
