Thats another thing that pissed me off. They kept the poor people who work at the stadium in limbo. When they would cancel a month at a time, they kept these people's hope up that they would have a job in October or November, or December. Yeah. That's definitely what bothered me the most. Was the people that make all or a portion of their living working at the stadiums during hockey season to pay pills and shit and all they would get is the odd concert for work and it's bullshit, all so that both parties can argue over millions per person in each party... So no, I am happy they stopped dicking around and got the season started. As much as it would be a theoretical "fuck you" to the teams and owners if there was any sort of boycott or whatnot, yes it would cost them hundreds of thousands if not millions per game per team in sales but who it REALLY hurts is the people that need to be working making minimum wage at those places, not the people with mils in the bank. So yeah.
