I ETSed in '71, and I can see from your thread that some things never change. Welcome home, bro! Butter-bars need to respect the rank and experience of the guys that do their jobs for them, that show them how to stay alive, and hopefully how to lead men.

Been a few days, and I must say it feels good to be home... It FELT good too!!

I'll probably let this thread go the way of the Dodo now, but in closing I'd like to say thank you to EVERYONE who posted comments and voted. I've enjoyed every post, and this was by far my most successful thread. I usually don't start 'em because I get side tracked pretty easily.

Not being deployed means I get to send time with my family, so my visits won't be as frequent, but I WILL still be around. This site has kept me entertained through many countless hours. It's the members that make this site great... You can't pay professionals to write the kind of shit people write here!!

So, thanks again! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did...

Thank you for doing your job. It's never fun to be out of country being shot at. Because the UN is useless the US and 60 some other countries stood for whats right rather than whats easy. Doing what is right is always the hardest thing to do.
