Always been in SoCal 92651
Ha Ha.....typical college dorm game.
We got around 7 or 8 inches of the wettest, heaviest snow we've had in ages, truck broke down a little more than halfway through my plowing schedule, truck is now at the dealership waiting to get fixed... Ihave some very unhappy customers
Indeed, and of course my backup plan fell through also...
just goes to show, no matter how much you plan, there is always a chance the plan will fail
Yeah, when you have a big snow dump like that every piece of equipment available is pressed into service.
Wet snow is also much harder on equipment than the light fluffy stuff, which I'd much rather deal with
We haven't had a sniff of a hurricane here for 11+ years now but somehow, we had torrential downpours with tornadoes yesterday. In the middle of February. A large portion of the big tree in my front yard came down. Thankfully it fell in the street and not on my house/car. I'll give the city credit, they had that thing chopped up and turned into mulch in a couple of hours. This has been the strangest winter weather wise, ever. Oddly warm with lots of rain, then a week of temps in the 40's and 50's then hot again with tornadoes. WTF.
Yeah, we had a green Christmas, followed by extremely variable temperatures, and now a snowfall that broke the record set in 1947.
So, I might have my busted ass truck back from being repaired today, which really doesn't matter because it's supposed to be almost 60 this weekend, bye bye snow.
Yeah, it's raining here today so some of the snow should melt.
We had 8 inch snow last night and more is coming right now..
All of our snow has melted, was almost 70 degrees yesterday, this weather is crazy weird
Send some of your pesky frozen water out here, and quit your bitching !
Our celebrated El Nino is a bust.
Oh, I'm not bitching, just thr opposite, once I get my truck back from being repaired, I'd like more snow to recoup my losses from the last snow...
