I'm probably your worst user. I've been coming (haha) here since 2006 (just trolling all the hot babes) and have never once uploaded anything. So, feel free to disregard what I have to say - the real users' comments carry more weight.

But for what it's worth, and as has already been noted by others, with site design simplicity is always key. We all appreciate clean pages. And yet there have been many good suggestions for new features in these comments so far, including a mobile option, hiding smileys, benefits to uploaders/members, and a d/l option for favourites. Making space for such things while keeping the page simple will be a real challenge, for sure, but I know you're up to it.

Surely whatever you do will be excellent (this site has always been well-run and I rarely have slow-downs here), I just hope freeloaders like me can still get into the archive after the rebuild. I also hope the reconstruction won't interfere with use of the site for any great period of time.

I'll be eagerly watching the site for changes.

even when i first got here i liked the front page. you look around it and say "wow! look at all the interesting stuff on this site!" i clicked on this that & the other stuff, saw the members having fun interacting, i stayed. good thing you'd switched from dutch to english by then!!!!

Here's a new issue. It's fairly new so I hadn't gotten annoyed with it enough to post about it, but it might help contribute to the next set of boards too.

When I open multiple pictures from this site at once, it will inevitably crash out my browser because of all the hokey bullshit that gets plugged in here - That's seriously annoying.

So to avoid this, I open the pictures I want to view and then I right click on the picture and select "View picture."

This allows me to view the pics without making my browser crash from all the fluff.


Recently however, when I've started doing that, I get a "Do not hot link to this picture" message.

A) I'm not hot-linking. I'm trying to see the fucking site without everything fucking crashing out on me.

B) Why not?



PS: This also makes it impossible to search on TinEye unless I download the pic first.

Currently I am only able to see the last 100 posts I've made. It would be nice if there were a search option in order to find older posts.

Also, the ability to change my votes would be nice... Sometimes I click the wrong button. Maybe charge us a credit for it or something so that it's not being abused.

Also, I can't say it enough (until I know it will be there): "Picture grouping."

I don't have very many good ideas, but this one is a good one. It's like the tag system except 1,000,000 times better, easier and far more accurate.

Reading all sugestions makes me very excited to start working on totally new WBW! You guys and girls gave me some really good ideas!

A while back I had made a suggestion that we should be able to use "credits" to view sponsor member only pics. Similar to watching videos. Maybe charge a flat rate like 1 or 2 credits to view a pic. It seems silly to me that I can view hardcore vids, but not pics.

I have experience creating android apps and I was thinking about developing an android app for WBW however I realise this would allow users who are non-sponsor to skip advertisments etc etc, so I sort of abandoned the idea as I really cannot be bothered with all the business side of things!!

I may give it a crack in the next couple of months though it would be much easier if the new version of WBW was native to android integration, much like facebook is.

When I'm trying to tag pics, the share feature always pops up while I'm trying to select one of the tags. I always get freaked out when it says "share successful", cause I'm always worried it's going to send some naked chick to my wife's facebook page. Maybe just move the share feature away from the tagging place.

To update you guys/girls, I have started working on new code of WBW. I am building it from ground up, so there is still nothing to see yet. I am adding a lot of things I have learned for speeding up a website. No old code will be used, so that will be a big challenge.

No good designers around who are willing to help me out?

what ever you do I'm sure it will be awesome. WBW has always been the best site on the web. I have been a member since 2005, and I don't mind paying for the product I get here at WBW. If changing things fixes how fast we can get around the site, then your on the right track. I also admitt I like the old format better.
