The Buddy function is pretty disfunctional and only serves to let you know if they are on line. Why not mod it to see what they are looking at as well ? Some of the more fun features of Facebook could be adopted and make this a better site.

What's the most popular site on the net? Facebook. So maybe to make WBW more social, and to get more people active and envolved in the site you should take a look at how WBW can be made more social?

This could include:

- a news feed of your buddies activities (threads they've posted in, pics that have been added, stuff like that)
- buddy suggestions
- IM chat

Good ideas mates! Keep them coming, I currently will not go into it as I am working to hard on basics for now. As I am at a point I am easily can add suggestions I will start commenting on stuff Sorry for this right now.

When im searching for photos by tag topic, i would like to just see the next photo in line under the particular tag(s) topic im searching under. For instance if im searching for topless, i want to be able to click on the next picture in that tag category instead of having just random pictures. It sucks to have to go back and click on the next pic.

Oh, just remembered to add this:

FIX THE FORUM SEARCH FUNCTION!

It sucks to search for something and get nothing from after 2007.

I really like this idea, I am going to-do my best to get something like this in the new code.

As the site code and database totally being rewritten, the change is big that it will be fixed. This simply because I don't use the same code.

Will look into it, and consider it. Can't make promises as I don't know what performance impact this is gonna have.

I've been back and forth from WBW a few times. What brought me back for the most part was the half decent non-babe topics. Babes, whiles nice and very good quality, you can find almost anywhere. The actual social forums where people talk, be it in the Spam chat or wherever, the lounge and fun forums too, are what make this place better than other places. People talking about stuff. Doesn't have to be much at all, but it breaths life into this place.

Sure, you need babes, but you also need that post coital chat

Now that i finally cashed in my piggy bank and bought a membership, i would like to add a few things. I like the oversized pics feature, try to mark the thumbnails in a way that we know is oversized. The Facebook format would be really cool too. And i have to concur with the poster abover me. (theltch) which i think if the facbook format was implemented, the social part would be taken care of.

tags should be easier, so many pictures should be tagged that aren't. I have tagged alot but they never show up

What about adding the functionality of who's on a thread.... like a status bar with all the users which are reading or posting on the thread you're actually watching?

+1 for z1's idea. I like the idea of a rewards system over the sponsor/pay system. I have so many costly subscriptions as it is id rather just earn my membership rather than pay for it. Im a newbie though so i may be out in left field here

Don't worry this is going to happen. For people who are willing to support with money or are lazy to earn it can easily buy it, as we need the income

First, let me say how much I love WBW !!! While I may not contribute much, I am more than willing to pay to access the awesome content you have, and would pay more. I think the decline is related to the economy and not the awesome job you do. I do suggest that we should be able to select pictures as a favorite without having to open the picture up. If there were a small heart on one corner as we go through a gallery of pictures we could just click on the heart and it would be added to our favorites - I think this would save bandwidth etc ?? Again, thanks and dont think we do not appreciate all your hard work. I certainly do !!!

Bandwidth isn't a big issue as for now. A lot of element loading is more an issue, for example we now load 5 stylesheets, 5 javascripts, the page itself, a lot of images, and a lot of smilies. If we lower the connections that have been made will help in lowering usage on the servers. This is taken in account with the new site, as a lot more optimizations.

Second I like the idea of easily adding to favorites ect from the picture/movie overviews. I will consider this.
