Also, the fact that a bank is concerned about morals is just ironic to the highest level.

I don't know, I know they can shut accounts of criminals down, so if they were prostitutes they'd have a valid reason, but cam girls and porn stars are hardly hookers. Ok...maybe some are, but certainly not all are.

A Dutch crime writer wrote a pretty suspicious book about seven ways to kill your spouse a year after his wife disappeared. He became a celebrity and spent the next decade hinting - in print and on TV - that he had murdered her. Finally, it turned out that he really had.

As for savings and/or checking accounts, I don't think the bank can close them based solely on profession (unless it's something illegal) but they can decide whether or not to extend credit to people based on their own personal opinions.

This may sound like an over simplistic solution, but if they came out of a drill hole, they have to fit in the size of a drill hole right? So why not just put them back down into 1 of a million abandoned drill holes, and then over up the hole with some concrete or non contaminated dirt. I realize the article was talking about how companies aren't doing anything about it, and not about the problems of what to do with the material, but I think I'm on to something.

They can shut down accounts at any time they choose. There's no law mandating the bank to give you an account.

Further, these closing may actually be due coercion by the US government: https://news.vice.com/articles/is-the-doj-forcing-banks-to-terminate-the-accounts-of-porn-stars?trk_source=homepage-in-the-news

Something like 250 young schoolgirls were kidnapped in Nigeria by a rebel group a week or so ago. They were then sold into marriages in neighboring countries: http://m.allafrica.com/stories/201404290560.html/?mane[Blacklisted]http%3A%2F%2Ft.co%2Fer9zztDqVu

Even if there's no law for that, isn't it part of the contract you sign with the bank when opening an account ?

I'd bet there's some small print in there that allows the bank to do pretty much whatever it wants when it comes to closing your account.

Well, we know this, but for those that don't:
PayPal (kinda counts as a bank?) has like a morality clause that lets them suspend accounts (and retain the funds within) for accounts that deal in adult material. So yeah, I'm betting companies as undeniably altruistic as banks would have something similar.

Yeah, I know a cam girl (and her regular) that lost $5K this way. He was a big tipper, sending her money rather than tokens, and when paypal figured she was a cam girl, they froze it and took the money. Its shady as fuck. I mean, I can respect their choice not to want to deal with adult services...even though I think its stupid. However, to retain the funds is criminal in my opinion.

Well, that's what I'm unsure of.
Sure, illegal activities must be in the clauses but regular adult ones I don't know. Also, the rules might be different between here and the US.
But if every banks did the same, how would porn star (or even Dizzy ) be able to live without any account ?

Agreed and I guess that's why a lot of people avoid paypal even if they don't have anything to do with adult activities.

Yeah, a missile is something sent. Like a projectile, lol.

And man, I didn't read the article, but I wonder if she was born with that name, or changed it? Or just made and consumed so much meth that it just became her?

While I would not be surprised to find many a Floridian with some form of RPG missile, I think in this case it just refers to a projectile.
