Go for a .40 cal. Glock has proven pretty reliable in a couple of my little...incidents.

Absolutely right. But I'm neither 7 stone, nor weakling... And I carry daily. In my line of work, the whack-a-doos come out of the woodwork. I also work as an armed guard @ night.

then if you're an armed guard you will or should have a licence. If you have no occupational need to carry, you should not carry a gun

The only solution is to eliminate crime but that isn't going to happen. Cops only come after the crime has taken place and it's too late. Some people just prefer to be able to defend themselves should the situation arise.

The average citizen carrying a gun doesn't bother me at all, it's the criminals with guns that I'm more worried about. I live in Arizona where it is legal to carry a gun without a permit as long as it isn't concealed or you can get a concealed weapons permit. I've never had a problem with anybody with a gun.

@trust: damn you actually own my favorite sidearm ! glock 17! ( in holland its illegal to own firearms ) its one of the few firearms i fired recently,

Of course I need a license for the guard work. But I'd carry anyway. I have since I was old enuf to buy the ammo. Even when I didn't do guard work. The gun itself isn't dangerous (usually..there are a few tho...), it's the under trained or unstable nut-ball holding it that should be restricted. Or executed.

Say... Isn't it time to chlorinate the gene pool?
