Looking like every other woman out there modeling is not the idea.
Surgery is not an option for a few reasons. First off, I am not independently wealthy. Health insurance these days is not what it used to be, and I would bet you money that it's not going to cover cosmetic surgery. Secondly, the whole idea kind of grosses me out. I wasn't mauled by a dog or severely deformed from birth. I can live with a unique nose and chin. Have you seen "Dirty Dancing"? Jennifer Gray and her "overly big" nose were very famous. She acted in many movies before that. I was annoyed that she had a nose job some time after "Dirty Dancing" because to me, she doesn't look like herself anymore.
Why would someone want to hire a model that looks like half of the other models out there? Why should I spend hundreds (or thousands for surgery) to get rid of the look that photographers have told me is the reason they'd hired me in the first place?
That just doesn't make sense.
