Thats kinda what I was thinking too Davey. An Asian donor would most likely be a reflection of the two of you, where as a European donor wouldn't. Conversely, if your partner were the one getting pregnant, then I would be think it would make more sense to seek a caucasian donor than an Asian one.

But obviously our opinion is irrelevant...its a big decision to be made by the two of you.

I so agree on mixed race aesthetics, but I am no bigot and there is no rule on human beauty, much less real love.

It's very interesting to me, actually. I've always thought the lesbian baby dynamic was an interesting one, in that going the sperm-donor route will always result in one parent being genetically related to the child while the other parent is not. Which, well, I'm not sure much matters in terms of having a happy family, but there are some hereditary issues to think about there.

Additionally, my immune system is failing to kill whatever bug is currently attacking me, leaving me feeling like poop today. I also have an occasional compulsion to argue with people who are very, very dumb, which I know is a fruitless activity, yet I do it anyway. What a biological disgrace I am.
