Oh that's pretty simple. I could probably go up to Lowe's and build one of those for like $10. I don't know though I don't like having to screw things into the door frame. I'd rather have something completely removable which is why I'm curious about the other thing I posted.

i am in this same boat for a few weeks i had been eating fruit, vegies, drinking tons of water and tea, some meat, and that was about it. aaaand then i faltered one day and it sucks getting back. especially because i haven't been out running with all this damn snow. bah.

though i've been doing yoga, pilates, and such things which may seem really girly and not really working out... but i was surprised to feel it the days after I started, so I guess I'll keep that up until I can get out and start running more. Also think I'm going to pick up swimming again... I miss it and it's great cross training with running.

I'm still eating wellish...like I said, mostly chickens and fish.

But now I'm in phase two with hitting the gym. I hate the tread so I do a five minute warm up, then alternate between the bowflex, rowing machine and ab lounge.

It's pretty good even after just a few weeks.

You guys know who has to be in great shape? Athletes....like say, hockey players..

The other day I gave it a shot again..I did 60...but my arms were shaking and everything.

That's the lack of man food not properly supplying your arms with enough man sized power.

Doing 100 at once isn't a lot of fun. I usually just do push ups till I can't anymore. If I counted it's probably anywhere from 30-50 whenever I drop down. I could do that, take a minute break then drop down and do it again all day but my body isn't used to doing 100 in one set. I can force myself through it though I just gotta do them a lot faster then I normally would if I'm trying to do the 100.

So, Lindros hasn't really done his P90X thread, but he's hella busy with school so that makes sense.

Without it I've still been eating healthy, although I had a couple of cupcakes the other day. Working out daily..I could pretty much stop now and be in moderate shape for the summer.

That's what I mean, after a solid month of activity and healthy living, you see quite a noticeable difference. I'm going to probably keep hitting it pretty hard until late April.

How are you bros doin, anyone getting in shape for summer?

if you're 6'1'' and 160, don't worry about dieting, eat some protein and gain some weight. no one is impressed with skinny boy abs.

I just got back from the gym like 45 minutes ago.

Hittin the cardio/aerobic stuff (bike/treadmill/stairs/elliptical thing) pretty hard the last couple weeks, probably gonna do that for another week and a half or so at 4/5 times a week depending on tests and things that might take up a bit of time ehre and there.

After that I'm hitting the weights hard for the month of April...then starting in May probably down to like a 50/50 mix of weights cardio.


And keeping the diet on point, of course. Living on fruits, fruit juices, water, milk, turkey/chicken cold cuts for lunch, and usually a chicken/fish + veggies dinner. Sometimes I get a little bit of pasta in there for dinner too, but I pretty much try to avoid that. Also, making sure to eat breakfast and have like a granola bar or some nuts or something throughout the day to keep the metabolism fairly steady.


So, even with slacking with the P90X thread, I'm still holdin down my part of the deal here.

My speedo is going to look so cash.

Not much of a fitness guy, more like a chubby guy who is getting signals from a chick a school (even though i am married). I just bought this thing called a tower 200 from body by jake. had it about 3 weeks now and starting to see difference. only takes about 11 minutes per day and you can focus on individual exercises or a full routine. i can give info if anyone wants to PM me.

i was wondering how many of you guys would continue doing 100 push-ups a day. i don't do ab workouts because of my back injury, but still do 50 pushups & 7 miles every morning in the desert. i'm 63. gotta keep going. i'm telling you guys, this getting old shit is not for wimps.

i used to do like 4 miles day and rep like 285 but then schools got interesting... now i am sitting in a chair all day looking at papers.. engineering.. it is fun
