Nobody can fix your tiny dick, blame that one on your dad's crappy genes.

Yup, go ahead and take steroids. You'll get big and buff real quick. All the girls will love you and you can break Barry Bonds' home run record. My cousin got really into the steroid thing. He was always a pretty skinny dude and all of the sudden he was like 225 pounds of muscle. The prolem was, when he would cycle off them, he'd get skinny again or occasionally be flabby. Depending on the 'roids he took. Well, to avoid that he decided to keep taking them repeatedly. He got into selling them and he was mister poularity at the gym. Not to mention all those ladies who love the muscles and the money that comes along with selling drugs. Flash forward about 6-7 years. He has to have surgery to remove his gall bladder. The doctor told him the damage was specifically from the steroids. Not to mention he has the liver and kidneys of a 65 year old alcoholic and he's not even 30. He still hits the gym alot and stays in decent shape but his body is permanently damaged from PED's. But hey, take steroids all you want. The ladies love bitch tits and backne. There is always a price to be paid for cheating. It just doesn't always show its self right away.

Is it really that hard for most people to not be fat asses? As far as lunch meats go I like the Capicola and Pastrami. Bird meat is tasteless, I don't even like it on Thanksgiving.

edit: oh I do LOVE fried chicken, but the fried takes out all the health benefits.

I guess it's easy for me to say "don't do the 'roids" cause I've never been a little guy and i've seen what happens to abusers. How about we jsut stick with "Be carefull what you put into your body".

I'm the same way. I've never seen a need for them for me personally. I've just known people who have used them successfully which is I guess why I'm ok with them. You have seen the opposite and have witnessed a person self destruct over using them and so you see them in a different light then I do.

Even though I like to poke fun at these guys and their girly diets really I'm all for anybody taking care of themselves in any way they see fit. At least they care and are doing something as opposed to the vast majority of society which isn't willing to do much more then buy bigger pants every 6 months.

Yes, there are negative consequences from taking anabolic steroids, just as there are negative consequences from taking aspirin, drinking coffee, or having sex. Adults should make informed decisions about partaking in any of them.

i'll do my 30 push-ups a day, but i hate doing sit-ups. quit that shit 8 years ago. but doing 7 miles a day in the desert...women like a tight man-ass as well as they like tight abs. i'm up for that.

I don't worry too much about my abs or lower body. I don't have a washboard six pack or want one. I've got some definition and it's flat and that's cool for me I have no interest in having an Usher stomach cause for that kinda shit you actually do need to diet just to get every ounce of fat from around the muscles.

Push ups are great, AZ, especially if you elevate your feet. They work a lot of upper body muscles and you can do them anywhere with no equipment. I generally just drop down and do a bunch of push ups all day whenever it crosses my mind. I really like work outs which just involve working against your own body weight.

I love doing pull ups for arms but I have no where to do them. I'm thinking of buying one of those "Iron Gym" things on tv that you hang from a door frame and do pull ups. I'm just worried the thing will fuck up the door frame. Anybody have one?

There are plenty of people out there who get lung cancer despite never smoking a cigarette. Doesn't mean you should pick up smoking. Although it does keep all those model-chicks skinny.

That thing I posted is a simple little thing that hangs in a doorway and allows you to do pull ups/chin ups. It's $30 I think. I just haven't bought one because like I said I'm afraid it'll either scratch or completely tear down the door frame eventually. Here's a better pic of it being used so you at least get the idea of what it is....



I've got too much large equipment as it is. I've got a bowflex, a treadmill, I've got a heavy bag, I've got a bench and weight set all in the same room so I have no room left for one of those stand up style things you posted which is why I'm considering buying the one that hangs in the doorway.

I love that line "you can't fatten a thoroughbred". I'll be using that as a response to the health-nut people from now on when they try and tell me I should eat better.

Why don't you look into one of the old fashioned pull up bars that screws into the door jam? I've known a bunch of people with them and never seen one break.

Screws in how? like with threaded screws and a drill or you mean more like a shower curtain where there's a screw inside of the bar and then it twists outward and tightens against the door frame?

Somehow I've never seen one of these "old fashioned" screw kind.

My day starts at 4 am with a 3 mile run, it 1.5 miles to my gym. I spend an average of 45 minutes to an hour working out every morning, before returning home and getting the wife and kids up.
It works for me pretty well i am 39 years old i am 6'4" 225 lbs, according to the bmi index i am overweight and should weigh about 190 lbs, but it doesn't calculate in the fact that i am 28" from shoulder to shoulder my biceps are 24" in diameter i wear a size 16 shoe and bench around 400 lbs, what can i say they grown em big in Texas...

Yeah I hate this whole BMI revolution. It's the stupidest shit ever. It only applies to people who do absolutely nothing. If you put any muscular/athletic persons numbers into those calculators every time it will tell you that you are a fat ass. You could have 2% body fat or something ridiculous like that and the BMI crap will still be all "you fat ass lose some weight".

Wanna know if you're fat? Look in the mirror!

Really? You mean I can use something as ancient as a mirror to determine if I'm fat? noooo, impossible! surely I need some ridiculous calculator to tell me if I'm fat.

Usually there's two brackets that screw into the door jam and the bar slides onto the brackets. I'll try and find a pic.
