Oh, and I just started actually losing weight! I've lost 3 pounds so far. Well, from what I know. I didn't have scales when I first started this, so wasn't exactly sure of my weight. So, in 13 days I've lost 3 pounds.

Stop weighing yourselves. Look in the mirror and judge your results by how you look and how your clothes fit. Going by weight is just terrible. Would you be happier if you looked like shit and weighed less or if you weighed more and looked good?
You just said yourself you look sickly but have lost 10 pounds, Hondasee what dieting gets you? Under nourished, weak....and sickly. On the plus side if you get skinny and sickly enough you may get a modeling contract from CK or somethin.

For abs I do a routine an old navy seal I used to work with taught me. I have no idea how to explain it in text because I don't know the official words for the movements but basically you do 15 crunches (with your legs in motion as well as your upper torso) then 15 crunches on each side, then 15 alternating type crunches where you do the same position as the first crunch except you touch your elbows to opposite knees. Then I start over again and keep going until I can't anymore. I've never counted really just going until you're absolutely fatigued is the goal.
I don't diet at all ever. Diets and eating right are for chicks and obese people. I eat what I want when I want and make no effort whatsoever to calculate or record any of it and believe me nothing I eat is at all healthy. As long as you workout hard any food you eat just serves to feed your muscles and help them grow (I have no idea if that's scientifically accurate but it works for me)

You guys are my boys but you both sound like a couple of chicksWant to come work out with my wife and her friends? Afterwards you guys could discuss your periods and watch some romantic comedies and cry together. It'll be a regular girls day! Just make sure dinners ready when the men come home

My problem is gaining weight since you know...skinny people...don't exist anymore. I have seen health books that don't even mention gaining weight in even a single paragraph.
and before you tell me to eat eat eat, would you tell a fat person to stop eating? it's not that easy. My job is physical enough I do eat yet I'm still 5'8" 135lbs.
So if anyone has any idea on weight gainers, protein powder pros/cons etc, I'm up for it.

Don't you find it hard to work out when you're so under nourished at first though? I know if I ate like you and EL are I'd probably have to reduce weight and/or reps signifigantly in order to even get through a workout. Either that or after I worked out I'd feel all sick and drained.

I have a buddy with the same issues. He's 6'3" about 170 lbs but has a hard time maintaining that weight, let alone gaining. You will really have to up your caloric intake. I know alot of skinny people eat but don't gain but it's the only way. Protein and weight gain powders form your local nutrition shop would be your best bet. Don't take steroids. Skinny guys who take roids get big fast but get small even faster after the cycle. So, unless you want to seriously risk your health by constantly taking steroids, just grab some high-cal, high protein shake mixes and add them to your regular diet. Also lift as much as you can when you do strength training. Don't get caught up in doing ten reps of every excercise. Use enough weight that you can do 4-6 reps. That's how to gain bulk.

Not the HIV, cancer or anything like that, at least not that I know of...There may have been a massive dump or two, but actually I just got back to running everyday (yes, it sucks while doing it but afterwards I always feel better and if you do it for 45 mins everyday you will drop weight quickly) and modified my eating habits (cut out eating anything fried or overly processed and nothing after 8pm) and I also stopped drinking alcohol (for some reason I made some less than stellar food choices at 11pm after a couple of drinks).
