Which tablet/pad should I buy?
My plan is to get my mom a tablet where she can put the Kindle app on, and also watch movies and TV shows (potentially from Netflix, if that's an option, otherwise just whatever she puts on there or buys.)

I don't want to create a new thread cause no one would read it, I don't have the internets to be rocking around dealing with multiple threads, and the one person that I'll prolly listen to just posted above me.

If you want to aim towards the cheap end the Amazon Kindle Fire is decent at $199.

If you want a serious tablet for her it will probably be the iPad. Android tablets are fine and all, but they aim for the more technically competent.
