You know, as much as I like to think that all the support from various sites will influence the lawmakers here, I don't.

I mean, individuals don't have the money or power to persuade Congress to do anything. Which I think is part of the OWSer's complaints.


I mean, Congress is willing to declare pizza to be a vegetable if you pay them enough money, but the average citizen can't lobby or buy their own congressmen. Unfair, IMO.

Pizza should be in the bread group since there is more crust then anything...

Thin-crust pizza: dairy group or possibly fruits/veggies (depends on how liberal they are with the sauce)

Thick-crust/pan pizza: Bread group

Chicago deep dish pizza: Probably the meat group with all the ham, meatballs, peperoni, sausage, etc.

Pizza should be it's own food group.
