Very long story made short....no charges filed. (Yet?) Cordial eye contact in class. Giggles from faculty and comparisons to "Old Doc Follansbee" in the life sciences department. Incredilbly bad judgement on my part.

I feel as though that dude would have to be very much... of a... bitch to file charges over getting hit with an eraser.

My 20 yr old sister just went out on a date with some dude who was like 35 or something and that seemed really gross to me, so who knows.

Hmm...I'm 34 and I would probably have a hard time finding things in common with someone under 25.

I'm not on numbers too. I'm 5 years older but it could have been the opposite, it wouldn't have bothered me.

As I noted, my rule has been +/- 10 years, which can be a little extreme. But I look back on most of those well chosen relationships with great fondness. For the most part I chose well. They were pleasing to the eye and body and in most cases I learned more about myself and life from them than a woman my own age for the same time. Now I am engaged to a woman five years my junior. At no time does either one of us feel anything other than completely matched emotionally.

Cuturally we have some issues that might be a deal breaker though. She is Asian and can't understand my childish delight in Groucho Marx.

@ Jenn - As a general rule I tend to stick to people more my age, so I'd say +/- 5 years for me...so 23-33.

@ EL - He had it coming.

From 18 to 18 and 6 months.
