That's kind of a bold choice, although lots of people have it done. Doubt we see many more topless scenes in her movies, but at least she stands a better chance of not getting cancer, so that's a decent trade off, I guess.

You guess ??? Oh EL....I think it is amazingly bold and to go public with the decision process and the proceedure details discussed....I am really impressed. Not the biggest fan of her before this.....no particular feelings one way or the other really.....I am now a fan.

And good for Brad. Lots of support and he gets some restored-to-new titties to play with.

Wow...Bold is an understatement. I don't know if doctors told me I had an 87% change of developing breast cancer, that i'd have a pre-emptive mastectomy....especially when the survival rate for breast cancer, as long as its caught early, is fairly decent today. Kudos to her for making such a decision in a profession where quite frankly....looks get you jobs. True, she has implants now, but we all know that doesn't mean they will look natural....think Tara Reid.

I said "I guess" with respect to the trade off between health and looks because its a personal decision that not everyone (or just the majority, actually) would go through with, in which case the trade off is not worth it, in their eyes. In neither situation am I in a position to judge the merits of that decision, other than to just say whichever choice they make is the right choice for them.

Meh, I really couldn't care less about the whole thing. She never particularly interested me to begin with.
