Whenever I see an infomercial, I wonder if people actually do have these types of problems. Maybe cracking an egg really is hard and I'm capable of doing it right only because I'm awesome? Maybe it's impossible for other people to grab a piece of tupper wear without ten million pieces falling out of the cabinet like a plastic avalanche. Maybe it's impossible for normal people to eat a taco or hot dog but I'm super skilled at it?

I say that... But actually in the last three* years the Canucks have lost 10 out of their last 11 games in the playoffs since losing the series 4-3 to Boston after being up 3-2 and then losing in 5 to LA last year and getting swept this year.. So it's great we make it every year and Flames haven't in 4 years but besides a couple Presidents trophies from 2011 and 2012 we don't have any more to show for it...

You're losing Mika probably during this off season and lost Jerome to Pittsburg earlier this season... I think this off season will see a lot of player changes for Calgary and quite possible some staff/coach changes for Van and maybe some players too.

All that said. At least I have hockey to watch longer than you instead of what... Golf? <3

I don't really follow hockey, but its hard to avoid when its in the paper every day, but I think losing Mika isn't a bad thing, providing they can actually get either good draft picks or decent young prospects. With all the changes the Flames have gone through and will go through in the next 6 months, Its obvious that it will be a loooooong time before they're competitive again.

How do you think the Canucks are going to handle Luongo? Personally, I think he's un-tradable due to his insane contract, so I think they're going to have to either buy him out or pay 1/2 his salary to whatever team they are able to trade him to.

But umm. Luo is a tough one. 1) he isn't half as bad as bandwagon fans like to think he is. They cheer him like a god when he makes unbelievable saves and want to throw him out the door at any cost when he has a bad game. I think that yes Canucks are looking more long term thinking 1) Never sign a goalie for that long of a time frame or 2) for that much money again. And rather than have things be awkward for a maybe eventually re sign for way less money with Lou they'd want to try and trade him to a team he wants to try playing for that does need a good goalie- which he is. His stats the last 4-5 years are top notch. Then probably keep Cory on a 3 ish year contract as a starter. The downside is that ya, probably won't save up any cap space trading Lou since most likely we would have to pay out a portion of his salary to whatever team still and get nothing for it :/.
