first i tought it was a GIF because it moved
but i saved it and it was a Jpeg
so it an illusion

The reason it looks like its moving is because your brain is trying to line up the squares but those little crosses between them (they are rounded) make it difficult for the brain to line up the pattern.

Scroll this page up and down and watch the center square move.
