Something I'd like to add is that when we upload pictures, many of them have tags on them already when we upload them. The system currently removes those tags.

We then put them into the system here, and people tag them again. We have taggers in this community that do that.

But then if we save the picture, the tag information is not relayed to our hard drives.

We then tag them ourselves once they're on our hard drives.

The same picture gets tagged 3 different times at least in some cases. Can you find a way to preserve the tag data in pics in the next version for us?

can i help with graphics? icons. tabs. etc.

Only issue I see with that is your favorites gets bigger over time. Lets say I get a sponsor membership the 1st day here and load the heck out of my favorites. Then the old lady finds out Ive been spending money on porn and she starts the smackdown (), so in an effort to save my marriage I got back to free status. How do you figure out what pics to purge?

This makes sense to put as an addon to the buddy system. "What is Spidey_ doing" That way when ppl ask, they know, "What would Spidey_ do".

Don't know if this has been suggested but:

How difficult would it be to add an algorithm exactly opposite of the current one for Babe Pics ? That is the smallest queue gets the highest priority and gets selects first.

Currently the person with the most pics in their queue has the greatest chance of having their pics accepted/rejected.
This results in the uploader that has just a few pics in queue to wait weeks/months for their pics to be moderated.
This new/additional algorithm could be triggered every other day and/or a couple times a wk.
This would allow more participation from everyone and decrease the amount of frustration of those with small queues.

Even if I'm not a mod, I second that. Very often, when someone starts uploading pics, he'll start putting just a few. If nothing happens in weeks after that, that can be discouraging.


Also, I don't remember if I already suggested that but it would be great to have the possibility in the tag search page to choose to exclude tags (for example you could search "outside" "NOT beach" to find all the pics of outdoor babes but not in the beach).
It would be a bit like the "noface" tag but with all of them and without having new tags to create, only the option to exclude existing ones.

any news or progress? how far is the new site?

Working on the payment module now, and the overview how to earn credits. Most is finished, only the frontpage/profile/payment module has to be made.

The first open beta testing isn't far away.

After all is finished I need to write conversions scripts to convert old database to the new one.

Agree! Great idea!

90% is finished of the basics.

The beta testing is almost there.

When the beta starts most of the features are ready and any suggestions/bugs will be fixed.

Keep in mind the site is totally redesign from ground up, I have worked on making it easy to use and more powerful.

Main focus was:
× Fast loading, less image loading, less css/javascript loading (make it light weight).
× Active users are rewarded (Getting back that community feeling)
× Making the code reusable, so new features can be added easily and quickly.
× Focus on useability, not on eye-candy.
× More ways to customize your experience.

Another Idea just hit me: How about adding - number of users that have a certain pic in their favorites. Should just be a extra column in the Database per pic. And populating it shouldnt be that difficult.

Could be another way of showing what is the best of the best.

Damn, there's a lot of ideas in this thread, surely they can't all be implemented. Will be interesting to see how it all comes together. I like the whole idea of a simple layout. After all, I am a minimalist and the only eye candy I care about is the chicks
