it looks like a frozen lake at first but its really just a corn field that's what I like about it something as simple as a corn field can take on a new identity

ok finally got around to finishing this. Like I said (somewhere before) i am also working on a hentai flash game in my spare time (needs about another month). this is the star of the game. I made this in to a desktop, so i can keep her in my mind. I did this with Illustrator and made the desktop with photoshop.

Edit: she is modeled from my avi girl, naturally.

Why did you use illustrator, whats the difference?

thanks Demo, the funny thing was I showed my avi girl, and her only comment was, "why did you make my boobs bigger?" she was not happy.

in illustrator everything is a path. You can go back and adjust paintbrushes pencil marks; erverything. you just kinda sketch the things you need, then go back and add ancors or move the points around.

in photoshop you have to use the pen tool to have a path, then you have to go to the paths tab and tell it to stroke the paths to get the outline. so you must make sure you are on the right layer and path.

In photoshop there are just a few more things to check on. in illustrator you can draw the whole thing, then seprate the paths, duplicate them, and then drop in the colors. I guess, all in all, it is just a speed thing for drawing.

for everything else I use photoshop. All manipulation. Illustrator is only good for drawing, IMHO.

Awesome picture man, great Depth of Field and awesome subject matter. The only thing that's a shame is that the bird is too high up, covering the bridge. It really takes away from the picture and kinda clutters it a bit. Otherwise I really love it.
[/reply]I agree also the depth of field, but look at the colours amazing!

this is the pic i turned into a pinup girl style illustration for sails avi. this was my first attempt at something like this although i have wanted to do it for a while. sometimes when you work on the computer all day you never get to do the projects you really want to do.

the first one is the original.

let me know what you think, what can be better etc.

I just re-read the rules and saw we could post our own photo's. I was thinking this was more of a PS manipulation thread. I love to take photos though I would not consider myself an artist, or my photos artistic for that matter.

One of my favorite places to shot is the local short track. This is one of my favorite pictures as it has the cars coming out of the setting sun from turn four.

As you can see not artistic or unique in any way. I just like it

Latino, i didn't know it snowed where you're at, nice detail mate, the way the gold from the background comes through the trees is awesome

Daggett, its a cool pic, nothing wrong with simple, i like simple

I had to click on the link to Latino's pic a few times to get it, but its there...

Probably. They have two classes - one called any car, and one called U-car for the average joe that wants to race, but cant afford the more expensive classes. You should see some of the old beaters that guys bring to the track.
