@ demonic - that spider pic is amazing, awesome detail and colour..
@ Basketfield - did you draw ALL the pics? or did you use some pics done by other people and manipulate? Cause if you did....good job mate, if not...did you read all of my first post?

@ ascaris - indeed mate, nice car all round

some of it waas using some 3rd party images e.g. the johnny cash wallpaper, but most of it i sketched using a graphics tablet an' touched up in paint shop.
But they were not just simple filter effects lo, a lot of work went tinto all of them.
Actually i'll lay it down:
image 1: 3d model done in part by me, and in part with my buddy, touched up and bg created by moi :P
image 2: the reservoir dogs logo was stolen from the cover (couldnt find suitable font) other than that.. just sketched and touched up
image 3: sketched and touched up (its size it was intended as a psp wallpaper, if your wondering about the size)
image 4: icture taken by my ex-gf of me, touched up by me
image 5: sketch of face, gradient, custom brush sayig "only human"
image 6: Jeniffer aniston pic used in this image, cos my gf just could not pull it off lmao. (rest original)
image 7: Joaquin pheonix pic taken from an existing walk the line promo image, then the lyrics were put on by me (originally mr cash's invention obv.) and then i touched up everything to shit
image 8: dont listen to the beatlees for 24 hours straight.. this is a product of that :P
made glowing orbs, pink brushed metal bg (also my creation) and several straight lines
image 9: was going for a something different as a wp, ended up with this after hours upon hours of fiddling and experimenting.
So.. a few images taken from here and there to make my ideaswork, but nothing without skill :P

Darth Vader bust I sculpted out of Sculpey.. (A polymer resin based clay you cure in your home oven)
I still need to final sand and do a little carving, plus make a base for it and paint it. I'm currently at an Army school, so I can't finish it now; nor can I get to my other more "complete" sculptures and drawings...

It stands about 6 inches tall, total

@ Basketfield - never said your pics required no skill mate but since were posting stuff weve done or manipulated, it be good to make sure we acknowledge if we didnt draw something, or take the photo. Otherwise people will be under the impression you did ALL the work and youll take credit for work done by someone else for part of your own.


@ morgadeth - thats freaking awesome!!...id love to see a finished one if you can. Thats pretty damn cool

1st one, trying to freeze the pool water fall

2nd pic is of Caesars palace Casino at night, i used a 2 second time exposer, with no tripod using fence as support

first are the images i used to make the final product, most of my work is for clients so i had to come up with something new to post here. i pulled an image off of one of the fourm posts, the second is an image form the hubble telescope, and the third is one i took on a trip to san fran.

now i combined them to make these, some may be better than others. i love to play with light and try to match up images that just don't go together to produce something fun.





i turned the lady into a statue using layer effects and filters
pretty much just played with it until i got something i liked
then added wings cause she kinda looked like a really cool angel on a grave type statue.
then in the next set i took it a step farther

this set i left the wings with more of a mystic feel and turned the lady into a cartoon esque similar to the style used in scanners darkly, just fun stuff nothing uber cool.
