Really? Saddam was a ruthless dictator who gassed his own people. While I don't believe it was our responsibility take him out and you couldn't take him out without destroying Iraq....The world is still a better place without Saddam and his henchmen. We could have and maybe should have took out Saddam after he attacked Kuwait . Saddam would have owned Kuwait if it hadn't been for us. Then Saddam would have been a great threat to Saudi Arabia. Afghanistan was a launching pad for Terrorist. We helped Bin Ladin defeat the Soviet Union. What was our pay back? 9-11 terror attack. Why? because we had a base in Saudi Arabia to defend against Saddam. Did we annex Afghanistan? Hell no!! We encouraged them to have free elections. We want out of there but the Afghan people have not much will to defend themselves against the ruthless Taliban. There will be a blood bath when we finally do leave. We want to FREE people and countries. Putin wants to OWN people and countries

Putin is hurting his own people a lot more than he is helping them. The world has changed but Putin hasn't changed. Why is the USA so successful? Because of the American dream of owning a business is alive and well. Entrepreneurs make America what it is today. Private business--not government owned business is why we thrive. Looks like Putin was a born Liar. Saying he is all for peace while bombing Ukraine Soldiers. Russia says it is their right to protect Russians "everywhere". Yea you can bring all your Russkies home to Russia but you can't legally take over other countries. Finland is now saying it is considering becoming part of NATO because of fear of Russia. I really don't think NATO has the backbone to help these little countries. Russia will take them one by one slowly but surely so as not to wake up the west:

I don't like Putin for 15 millionth time...he's an evil man. But your constant overdramatic opinions and love for blowing things out of proportion can't go on without someone calling you on them. Do you honestly think that Russia is going to take over countries one by one? Are you honestly that paranoid...or are you that naive? Look what happened with ISIS. Obama has been ignoring the barbarians. Oh they are not a threat to the Middle East region and the US. Now they have taken over large parts of Syria and Iraq. Beheaded a US citizen. Threatening to take their terror to the US main land. Putin says it is up Russia to protect Russians everywhere. Everywhere! Russia is showing it will invade a country IF that country doesn't put Russia first in everything it does ie trade etc. If some Russian citizens are not happy then Russia will invade and make them happy. Not only invade but also annex. They are calling part of Ukraine the "New Russia" as Russian troops and separatist move to take a lot more than Crimea. So you and other are playing right into Putins hands. Some Russian citizens are unhappy so Russia is partly doing the right thing. That is all the dictator needs for his propaganda campaign

Step aside Putin, ISIS is now going to take over the world. You do realize that more people die taking a bowel movement then have been killed by ISIS.

Also we have legally "invaded" other countries with all of our military bases around the world!

Name one country where our base is where their government doesn't want us there? In fact the Philippines is asking us to ramp it up to protect them against China for example. Another Putin enabler
All al queda needed was to hijack some planes to bring the US to a standstill and kill 3000 people. I am sure North Korea will be happy to sell or even give ISIS womd. ISIS can take over Iraq oil wells and get plenty of money for terrorism. Suitcase Nukes. Biological weapons. etc. We can't keep Mexicans out much less ISIS

If you think these are facts, you're more delusional than I thought.

Those are my opinions based on facts that I back up with news links. Another fact is Putin says the break up of the Soviet Union was a mistake. Based on his actions so far, I would say he is trying to correct that mistake. Ukraine alone will not bring Russia back to it's glory days. The other facts are the West sanctions. The Sanctions don't match the offense of annexing and invading another country. So far Russia has laughed off the sanctions
