yea and now we are begging for rain and cooler temps. 116f. today

We've had some of the most humid weather I can remember in a long time, along with some fairly warm temps, luckily it's been raining about once or twice a week, just enough to keep things green...

Wayward those are some neat pics. The one in 417 looks like a cow skull. It's wood tho' isn't it?

Demo that is just the closest place I hike I have so many wonderful places I go to hike when I have the time.

Beautiful pics guys

I don't have to travel to see it, but with the drought, there hasn't been much in the way of good views (the water don't change much) until today. Lot of storms over the whole state. Snapped these from home today. I love watching thunderheads roll in off the ocean, and it makes for some great sunsets if they clear up a little. I have about a million of these types, particularly the sunsets.

I hope so. I went road trip this weekend and only got a few but am to tired to put them up now.

You can see by the postings I make here I love all of the outdoors and at the beginning of this thread I asked everyone to share their favorite
rural spots.

Sunsets are one of my favorites.

Maybe in a couple weeks after I get back home i'll go through stuff and post some of my better pics. I should come back with some good ones.

For now, here's a few more:

The story on these is there were several dolphins chasing mullet or whiting right up onto the sand. I've never seen it before, never seen it since. It's all about being in the right place at the right time. Unfortunately, the pics are not as good as the story. I don't have a great camera, and I just could not time the shutter delay with the action.

Here's a fin, much closer to shore than I usually see.


Here are two dark spots, that are the dolphins just coming into shore.


This swirl was as close as I ever got to being able to prove how good the action was.


It was a real kick watching it. I just wish I could share it better by picture.

A few more sunsets. The ship in the last two made for some rare contrast.
