Who do you think will walk off with the trophy? my roubles are on new zealand to finally lift the trophy.
England pretty much have no chance, the welsh can turn it on when the want to and as always the aussies can pack a punch.
and lets not forget the home nation france!

I think we will do it this year, im predicting a france NZ final and should hopefully win that...

but i reckon the real dark horse that will surprise are South Africa... with the help of eddie jones they got a good chance

nah you guys will get the 2nd place from pool A england or samoa from memory so you will win that... but the quarters is where the real rugby will be played everyone is talking up france, but on their day Aussie can beat anyone so can South Africa... In my humble southern hemisphere opinion its either NZ, Aussie or SA that will walk away with the cup if a southern hemisphere side play france in the final its all bout us bottom dwellers...

a game versus England would be a great 'revenge' game.....blood will be shed im sure..

and i think it has to be a southern hemisphere team to win, the teams are good up there....but we got NZ and SA

personally id like to see all the home nations qualify for the next round however i do feel only ireland will miss out and with the form france is in i cant see past them to winning it on home turf

realistically, i know england have zero chance - i'll be happy as long as they don't play like a bunch of

but the kiwi's are gonna win it, no probs.

@earlyriser - don't discount Italy going ahead of Scotland in group C (sorry to all the scots, but it *might* happen)

Hope the refs are on to it and apply the same rules to all teams... I hate how shit calls have been ruining the game lately but thats the same with any sport... just over one day to go...

NZ to win, cant decide who will be runner up. Australia, France or the Boks, Wales to get as far as QTRs and lose out - again unless we play to our strengths and nick a win out of nothing. Nice to see the national press behind all home nations (ignore)

indeed...i wasnt surprised actually, been wathching some of the argentines local games running up to this....and they were kind of impressive.

anyone shocked with the aussie win over the japanese (cherry blossoms) who the hell calls a rugby team that?
with that name, the japanese will never win.

i was hoping the aussies would get into the 100's but they never really played at full steam..

I think those days are gone....the gap is closing between bottom and top and this isn't exactly the best Aussie side ever!!!

SA vs Samoa should be interesting fron English view point, SA seems a cert loss for eng. and Samoa could well knock us out in the first phase.
