Kanzen's usually right and I usually always agree with his technical genius. But the xbox 360 sucks hard and isn't worth the price at all. I bought one and I'd like to smash it. The graphics didn't even step up all that much from the old systems. Saints Row is cool but not by damn site any kind of advancement in anything and just another in the long line of GTA rip offs. Like another said the xbox 360 came out not too long after the original xbox which means the future xbox probably isn't that far off and Microsoft will expect you to crank out more cash. Not to mention the 360 doesn't play old xbox games without all kinds of pain in the ass downloading of shit and some games just plain don't work and aren't going to. Microsoft doesn't give a fuck about you and never will so why buy anything they make? Sony is trying, they may be misguided and misinformed as of late but they do TRY which is more then you can ever say about Microsoft. The ps3 will blow the 360 out of the water which is why it's priced so much higher. It's being designed to out perform the 360 and when Microsoft builds it's next system it will probably just have caught up to the level of the of the ps3 and you will have wasted your time and money buying a 360. Since I've had my 360 I've been nothing but pissed off at it and completely unimpressed with the graphics and the lack of being able to play the old xbox games which are still fun to fuck around with from time to time. In every other system upgrade the graphics have improved by leaps and fuckin bounds. From Nintendo to Super Nintendo, Super Nintendo to N64 and PS2's, Xbox's. But going from an xbox to an xbox 360 shows not even a comparable step up in anything especially graphics, it's just barely better. In my opinion the PS3 will have a noticeable step up from the other systems as a new system should.

Also, who gives a fuck about Saints Row? There will be a billion other GTA rip offs and GTA ORIGINALS to look forward to in the future on all systems, so Saints Row is sure as hell no reason to buy a 360. It's pretty much the reason I bought my 360 and I've hated myself for it everyday since. lol. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

PS3 will not stay at the price it is now for very long. Once initial sales aren't that great for it the price will come down. The PS3 is a better system but don't be in a hurry to buy it because it is bound to have some quirks at first that will need repair. Buy the 360 for now and then buy the PS3 in a few months to a year. 360 is also supposed to be upgraded by the end of '07 so it will be short lived and the games for the 360 won't be compatible for the new system. Best bet, hold off on both for now and buy the PS3 when the prices drop and the quirks get fixed after a few months.

Well Well my working at best buy i know alot about the ps3 and yeah, well the ps3 will have 2 times the computing power over the xbox360. and load time are down to about 2-5 seconds. you can use your bluetooth devices from home, *printers headphones microphones cell phones etc* and is built in wifi, and you can also use your psp *assuming you have one* as a controller and it gives you a live feed to the screen. so you can use your psp as a controller and a rear view mirror for racing games like gran turismo.. the new Xbox isnt even improved, its being re-released with a spoiler. thats it.. honestly thats it! A spoiler.. the ps3 will be available with up to 7 bluetooth controlers at one time. and has 2 hdmi outputs and has a 60gb hard drive *assuming you get the 599 version* and has the FREE INTERNET option, you can also use you iPod with it, and it acts as a DVR! so you can record your fave tv shows if you want! in my opinion Ps3 WILL PWN!! it is a formitable contender this holiday season. the only system that will stack up against it will sadly be THE NINTENDO WII! xbox is going to die, *even with the release with Halo Worlds* (new halo game based off of some WOW game KINDA) but ps3 will i repeat WILL be the True next Gen System!

Definetly go for the PS3. If you're worried about the price, it was similar to how much it was when the XBOX came out. 50 bucks more expensive actually doesnt cut it for what you actually get. The PS3 is actually a computer. (Ofcourse they were all computers, but with the PS3 you can use it like a normal computer). If you're worried about the network, PS3 will have it's own network interface.

20GB HD Space - Unless you want the bigger HD.

I personally despise te Xbox but I put good research into what I believe is better. Again, it's your choice but the only solid game released for Xbox 360 was probably the Ping Pong game and perhaps Fight Night. Nothing else matched the capabilities that were promised. Most of those games could've been played on the Original Xbox.

So yeah, If you want to go home happy, get the PS3. Trust me.

Amen dude.

People saying the PS3 is a lot more powerful than 360 are just plain wrong. Ubisoft have said that Assassin's Creed is the same on both consoles except the 360 version has better AI because of the computing power, and lots of gaming journalists have said that they saw Call of Duty 3 side by side on both consoles and the 360 version looked better and had a more steady framerate.

I'll go for PS3...love their Pro Evolution Soccer :p

Pro Evo Soccer 6 is coming out on October 27 for Xbox 360 and hasn't been announced for PS3.

It was nice of Sony to not include a built in interface for the current memory card. Another $15 bucks for the boys at Sony so you can transfer the data off of your PS2 memory card. Big companies suck, BTW fuck Microsoft and their Xbox 360 too. I'll probably buy the PS3 because I have a ton of games, but I'm gonna be waitin' awhile for a big price drop or 'till these consoles start showing up on eBay. Boy I hate the errogance of those Sony dickheads.
