PS3 or XBOX 360?

good luck getting a ps3. the shipments have been cut by 75% due to defective blue ray dvd players. Most game stores in the area wont even take reservations. For right now, the Xbox360 is the best bet.

Im gonna have to go with the 360, ps3 keeps moving back release date and its gonna cost like 500 bucks or more. and xbox has better racing games

I love the 360, its a stunning machine, but until i get the ps3, i cant give you an answer, neither can anyone else if theyre being honest. Coz NO ONE KNOWS!!!!

Get a 360, enjoy it, and then get a ps3 later on when the initial hype has died down, and you can read some real reviews and proper opinions.

PS3 all day everyday. Fuck the Xbox, the PS3 will blow it out of the water.

ive been an xbox fan since it cam out....i like the idea of getting the games 1st for a change...ive had everything and bought the mags 10-20 bucks a pop only to read what might come to usa and canada in a year or 3 and only about half made it hear...i am curious how ps3 will be cause i know there pissed at xbox for blowing ps2 away....but my pick is 360

Hardly the same, not even in the same league. Like saying the girl next door is hot just like Jessica Alba is "girl-next-door" hot. If that is the exact thing then Sony's PS3 would already be out and the PS3 production delays would have already been ironed out. The PS3 was supposed to follow the XB360 by 6-9 months, not 3-9 years.

Doesnt matter if its in the same league or not, they still fucked up. Maybe the main difference for sony taking so long is so that they get their product right before releasing it, rather than releasing it, having major problems and having to replace.

No one has the slightest clue what the real reasons for sony's delays are, yeah we can read reports and throw suggestions up, but we dont really know. But i would suggest that a multi-million or billion (whichever it is) pound corporation like sony is, would have a pretty good reason.

Which leads simply to the fact... NO ONE can say which is better, or how shit the ps3 or how good it will be... coz like i said before... we simply dont know until we see the release... And even then, itll be down to personal opinion. These threads with respect to everyone that posts in em, always throw up the same old shit.

So, heres an idea... buy what YOU want, and enjoy it. Because the one thing you can probably be sure of is... that all these machines are or will be awesome.

How can you say PS3 is better when it's not even out yet? XBOX 360 is really impressive imho.

I have the 360 and I love it and xbox live its all i play. call of duty2 is the shit and i can't wait for halo3!

theres perks to both, one advantage over the other. however, when you come down to it, it's all the same games, with the select few exceptions, for the most part. yes, i've seen xbox360 and what it can do, but i'm waiting for the ps3 to come out and see what it does. i'm going to be the educated american consumer (oxymoronic as it may be) and make a decision when i see both options laid out in front of me

However, its your choice mate, and it depends entirely on the games that you like to play.
