I worked for years in a laboratory. Happy as a porcine in poo-poo with tests, procedures and mumbo jumbo. Then the powers decided I would make a great purchasing agent because of my knowledge of media. Not the press but growth/enhancement/specific/differential/whatnot media for bacteria, viruses fungi etc.

I hated that job and tried to transfer for five years. I was told if I didn't like it, I could leave. The bastards knew I'd do a good job even though I hated it.

It led to an early retirement.

Ok so here is something that people don't know. I am a single father of two children, one who is autistic and partially deaf. I have had custody of my children for about 4 years since their mother and I split up.

I have traveled all over Greece and all of the Greek islands but I don't have the pictures because at that time we had analog camera and the box of the photos lost in the last relocation to my new house. I have to start all over again

I had a similar situation when I served in Afghanistan.
