I will debate with anyone regarding strength of conferences or schedules. Teams in the Big 10 are playing legitimate teams (no North Texas, Florida A&M, and other schools no one has heard from except in movies) week in and week out, year in and year out. Not hard to imagine teams #1 & #2 in this conference pitch....it's the toughest conference in NCAA D-1 football. DocBrewski and I will be drinkin' in celebration on Saturday for our National Championship bound Buckeyes!!!!

I'm sorry, no offense, but the Big10+1 is NOT the toughest conf in the country.
that distinction goes to the SEC. those schools beat the shit out of each other every week, and there's barely a saturday that comes where the low-end of the conference doesn't come in and upset a highly ranked opponent on the high end. USC is good. OSU is good. Mich is good. But you put them in a conference like the SEC and there's no way they go undefeated playing Ga. Tenn. Fla. Bama. LSU. Arkansas. Hell, even Vandy and Kentucky and S. Carolina will step up and knock off a powerhouse. That simply does not happen with any regularity in the Big10...Mich St? Indiana? Purdue? Illinois? Northwestern? Occasionally those school have a stellar year. but they are not capable of being spoilers every year, as are the lower-tier SEC schools.
Nothing against the Big 10...great schools in OSU, Mich, Wisc, Iowa, PSU and occasionally Minn. All would survive well in the SEC. but they wouldn't survive as they do in the Big 10.
