I'm going to go off on a bit of a thing here.. I got a message from an older member last night. I wont name names because I was asked not to. I haven't replied to like, six of the PMs I've been sent..so if they're reading this, I'm still meaning to do that.
I think the vast majority of members enjoy it when the mods are being assholes on occasion.
I can prove this time, and time again. Someone starts a thread "why aren't my pics being accepted!" then goes off about how the mods are useless hating douchebags. Then 400 other people pop in "too much this, not enough that." When hilariously, if the original poster of that thread had just read the rules of FAQ..he could have avoided making a bullshit thread, and saved us all some time.

People love ..LOVE drama. They love when its THE MEMBER vs THE MODS. Like where some kind of internet reincarnation of the fucking Nazis. I don't really care if you hotlink pro pics to the site, the fact remains it's against the fucking rules. Is it my fault you didn't read them, hypothetical person? No, you're just pissed off because I'm doing my job. Enforcing site rules that are there for a reason.
I think people love conflict and drama and all that shit, I think it's the only thing that'll even get them to post outside of a new female member they can harass the fuck out of. So now that we're trying to keep things running smoothly, and the bullshit at a minimum...members have less to be pissed off about/post about.
Back to that PM I was talking about. They outlined how the mods and the old members used to get into fights on a regular basis. That's true, they did..and it made for some hilarious, awesome battles. Long threads, passionate replies....people fucking love to fight. So, what has changed, either our member base has calmed down (not likely) or our mods have. A lot of them don't even post anymore really outside of just modding their forums. There are no more rouge mods, there are very few assholes..(everyone has a bad day). So, there's a quietness..and a line. On one side of the line is the mods, doing our jobs...on the other is posters, who post content..and if they do it following site rules, there is no problem. In the middle there is a bunch of people who do nothing. They just look at threads about tittys, fair enough, everyone likes titties.
There are no more epic battles between us and the members. We don't want to fight, we want to do our jobs, and have fun. People just wont read the rules most times, or complain about them. 99% of the people reading this thread, wont even have made it this far in my post here. When a cop pulls you over for speeding, do you argue with the cop the speed limit should be higher? No, that's just the way it is...all the rules of this site (outside of the scat and pissing one) is there for an actual, factual reason.
I've tried so hard since the last one of these to try to keep the site interesting. But then you have a hand full of people in the lounge, that actively low rate threads, just because they don't have porn in them, or just because they have a problem with me or other mods. Do you have any idea who disheartening that is when I love the site as much as I do? I try hard to give back, and start funny or interesting business, so people have something to do after they fap to pregnant girls getting punched in the stomach or whatever, and people get pissy about it.
Are they going to do anything to improve anything? No, they're just going to complain. If they think they have a super legitimate complaint, god help us if a few of the members get together...and then it becomes a clusterfuck.
I don't get paid to be here..I'm here of my own free will like everyone else. But the community was one of the strongest aspects of this site for a long time. As the community gets smaller, it seems the site gets weaker, and you can see in the feedback thread Diz started...if this trend continues, I can easily see him shutting this site down. Especially now that he has a kid....what I'm asking for people in this thread to do, is pick it up..join in, have a little fun.
If I were walking through an empty mall...full of the same stuff I've seen ten thousand times. Then some guy that worked there walked over and was like "Kid, you're only walking around like 30% of the mall...there's lots of cool stuff you haven't seen yet." unless he offered to show me his penis, I would probably check it out.
That's all I'm saying here..is yeah, there's tits. The thing I've learned about tits is...they tend to blend after awhile. There's more to the site, lots of cool people and threads.
This thread is designed to get people to talk about why they don't post more, and while a lot of people have legitimate reasons, and it's cool to see that, but the fact remains 2336 people have read this thread, with 77 posts in it. It's just a shame that's all.
Also, @ dralokyn: Remember how your thread that that one star rating since you started it, but as of yesterday has a three star rating? Guess who rated it a five to even it out, so more people would check it out.
