That's a good point if so...but wouldn't area rugs combat that effectively?

At my house, before I moved back here due to school/money constraints, I actually had hardwood floors throughout the house, and I made sure to keep carpet in the bedrooms, because I can't walk around barefoot and cold because of the damn hardwood.

I did rip up the carpet and refinish the hardwood on the stairs though, because outside of a bedroom, hardwood floors are the shit.

Generally, tile's not a great choice for areas where you're barefoot. I don't think I've ever seen a living room with a tile floor. Hardwood sometimes in a "formal" living room, but even then it's mostly covered in rugs.

You know, I'm starting to get kinda nervous about the whole med school thing. Just going over all the of the stuff that's required, and it's kind of daunting than only ~50% of applicants generally get in, nationally. My mean GPA is higher than the average of those accepted over the last three years, and I'm guessing my MCAT scores - when I take them - are likely to be higher than the average as well...but still...it's a bit concerning. Do you think moderating a pron site will look good on an application?
