@Honda: Don't join the army. If you wanna shoot a gun just move to the US. You can shoot a gun tomorrow. You don't even have to buy one, you can go to a gun range and rent whatever you want to shoot that day. If you accidentally shoot yourself though it's back to Canada for health care.

You still can shoot gun in Canada, but to shoot awesome weapons, you need to get that special license for restricted weapon.

My buddy's dad own a Famas he brought back from a tour in the 80-90 and its hanged above the fireplace. He told me that was the worst gun he ever shot.

I'd take a fully automatic M16 over any other assault rifle on earth. Problem is you can't legally own one here but you can buy an AR15 which is a civilian model but isn't fully automatic. If you wanna go through all the effort to get a firearm dealers license than you can own fully automatic weapons here but you gotta want it really bad to go through the steps to get that license.

I may or may not own an illegal full auto but if I did I wouldn't talk about it here. America is gun country, if you're lookin elsewhere you're lookin in the wrong place.

Also, any thoughts on tiling a basement? I keep hearing "It'll be cold" but I can have area rugs. I did teh math, and I can get a pretty nice tile from Home Depot for about 99c a square foot..it's an off white, kinda stone looking tile, which is pretty classtastic and bright. that would cost me about $500 for the area I want to do.

Or, I can go laminate..and the underlay alone will cost $200, and the floor itself can cost from $300 (super shitty laminate) to like two grand plus.....which is fucking banana sandwich.

I think in a large, open area tiles can rule pretty hard, plus higher property value upgrade over fucking laminate. I dunno I'm on the fence. I also bought two more recessed lighting fixtures, shit is going to look pretty awesome.

Oh well, let me know what you cats think about the tile situation.
