I just read Cell by Stephen King. It was really good. It would make a GREAT movie.
Don't read Devil's Advocate.. The rare occasion where the movie is better than the book.

Don't waste the money, go to the library and check the book out. Right now I'm reading "Einstein His Life and Universe" by Walter Isaacson. Good read...Judging by the many negative comments I have read here at WBW, I'm not sure too many people would agree with your opinion of Robodick.

i wouldn't mind seeing more "intellectual" or "off the beaten track" threads and whenever i have a good idea or sumthin i try to condense it into a nice lill topic, that ussually doesn't get any response due to "lack of mammoral glands"

Nothing wrong with jeff threads, the guy is a genius.

I want more Mr Poop experiment threads, like only eating beans or not washing for a month etc.

American idol does suck, how has it gotten to season 13, or whatever it is? Along with Survivor, and all of the other horrible "reality" shows

Just finished reading White Oleander ...loved it, though I feel it's more of a woman's read than a guy's...
Now I'm onto On The Road by Jack Kerouac ...read it once before and loved it enough to read it again
Next is going to be The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch -saw part of the lecture and was so moved by it that i can't wait to read it, I hear it's excellent

But I am looking for some more summer reading... any suggestions?

P.S. Half Price Books is my friend. ha, you find some great books really cheaply and when you're done you can just give them back...

Ma and Pa shops of any kind (even though Half Price is a franchise, (?) I believe) are always better than the big name brands out there...
