in that case, I can only think of when the gregorian calender was first used, this could be the answer. alternatively, was it the first century, as christ was 29 when he died or something??

it must have been the 16th century. Pope Gregor the 8th invented a new calender system called the "gregorian calender". the old system was called "julian calender". but for some reason i dont get it with the days and years together to give a 100% full correct answer. i hope anyone helps

i´m sorry folks. those were good thoughts, but i was thinking something different. so i will make it clear now:
the century lasted 100 years like any other century. but, if you look at it from a historical point of view, there were two events that started and ended it (historically) and those were 129 years away from each other...
