kyoshos cooking corner

I like field peas, but english peas are nasty.

The only peas I like that are green like that are snow peas and sugar snap peas.

(offtopic) Does Kyosho's avatar have a seizure or is it just my firefox?

The meatballs and mashed potatos look good! Now Im hungry.

Oh I love pea soup. I can't wait. I hope there are some kyosho specialities too.

Todays meny

Pea soup, and dessert Finnish Pan Cake.

Pea soup:

1kg Dryed Peas
Water
200g Smoked Ham
bouillon
mustard
salt, pepper

Finnish Pan Cake:

1 l milk
6 dl flour
2 tbs oil
5 eggs
1 ts salt



1. Let the peas be in water over night.

2. Next day boil them about 1- 1½ hours add little sugar when they boil

3. Cut smoked ham in small pieces

Kyosho, last night Lasagne rocked!

I'll pass the pea soup, I'm gonna have a long day today, no time to cook...

4. Add ham, mustard, bouillon, slat and pepper.

5. serv with mustard

Pan cake:

1. Put milk in a bowl add eggs, oil and little salt, whisk

2. Whisk the flour very good into the milk-egg mixture, put it in the fridgge for 15 min. whisk again after that.

3. Put baking paper on the owen pan and pour pan cake dough on it.
Bake in 200 C about 30min.

Serv with your favorite jam
