Yeah. I finally got the cast off and they put me in a rocker bottom boot style brace. Fucker went out from under me Saturday morning because the kittens spilled water. I tried to save the fall with my good leg, twisted it, dislocated my knee, landed on it and snapped my kneecap.

Yes, Bangs, for realsies.

No, nobody screamed disco. Meat stood there in horrified paralysis. My friend tried to grab me, but didn't make it. I tried to catch myself on the trashcan, fucked that up too. Instead I slammed my arm into the lip and, by reflex, threw out my phone.

I'm alive, if it counts. I have to go for an MRI whenever my insurance approves it. Meanwhile I have t wear a brace on it, pop the 60 vicodins they gave me like they're tic tacs and use crutches. The ankle I had surgery on being the stronger leg, I have to use that foot (IN the rocker bottom brace) as the pivot for the crutches. Life IS NOT fun right about now. Just today I got to the point that Meat doesn't have to pck me up off the couch or bed so that I can go to the bathroom. Progress...

Life sucks more everyday of late...

I fucked up the ligaments royally. The MRI is to check for cartilage & tendon damage.

Prognosis is that I'll almost def need surgery.
