Photography was a hobby while I was "in" so I made a slideshow a while ago. Nothing explicit in it, but it might make you old timers nostalgic. The one thing I miss most is that blue ocean water. The murky green port water is just depressing to look at now.

Cool slideshow. You had some images from the Suez Canal, in particular the monument on the Egyptian side. I went past the same one back in 1987. I remember it having huge chunks taken out where gunfire had hit it.

You're definately salty to know that. My boat had to make the transit so we could shoot a couple extra missiles in the Red Sea. There was another building that looked cool along the way. It was in the shape of a huge knife, a very one-of-a-kind building. I think it was the ministry of defense building. Ours should look as cool. All we got is a pentagon.
